Dynamic Athletics is the most advanced data management company for human movement in the world. For almost a decade, Dynamic Athletic Research Institute (DARI) has been developing new algorithms to efficiently process and present human movement data. In addition to full-body kinematics, we’ve pioneered a proprietary process to calculate precise, full-body kinetics.
Now every piece of human physics produced during movement is easily captured, processed and managed: the joint torque on a pitcher's elbow, the rotations of the femur and tibia about the knee during a squat. Every aspect of biomechanics becomes instantly and easily quantifiable.
Our initial focus was tracking high performance athletes, but our reach has expanded to broader applications including wellness and prevention, physical therapy, sports medicine, and military training. The proper application of our service may also impact neurological medicine in the near future. In addition, this service applies directly to workers compensation and disability policies in the insurance market, not to mention the endless academic and research opportunities.
At each step in our development, we’ve found obstacles: there is too much data, the data is hard to process quickly, the data is hard to interpret, we can’t screen enough subjects in a day. Time and again, we encountered all of the problems associated with motion capture and movement data.
Rather than accept the problems, we focused on what people wanted: 1) easy capture sessions, 2) quick and focused information, and 3) an unparalleled data management service. Dynamic Athletics has closed the loop on the process of gathering data and reporting results so you can get straight to the part that matters - applying results and getting better!
