Dynamic Athletics and Organic Motion Enter Partnership

Individually, Dynamic Athletics and Organic Motion define what it is to be cutting-edge in their respective fields. Together, the two firms now seek to revolutionize the landscape of professional sports, thanks to a distribution agreement– signed in September – making Dynamic Athletics the exclusive provider of Organic Motion’s BioStage system to professional baseball and football teams in North America.
When paired with a camera array, Organic Motion’s vision processor enables a computer to “see” the human body without the use of markers or other external devices. In servicing the athletes who make up the company’s clientele, Dynamic Athletics has long made use of the system – a 14-camera set-up housed within their Overland Park, Kan. facility – as a key component of their own proprietary method of data collection and kinetic analysis.
